About us – Contact

The Nordic Zoo and Wildlife Group is an international group of colleagues, veterinarians and veterinary nurses, working in Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland.

Together we cover multiple fields of the profession, some as general practitioners and others as specialists. Some members work in zoos, aquaria and nature parks. Others are researchers, academics and clinicians in research institutes and veterinary faculties. We range from students to pensioners, all sharing a common interest in the fields of exotic and wild animal medicine.

We aim to meet once annually, usually at the beginning of the year, in varying locations in one of the Nordic countries. When gathered, communication will be in English. There is no membership fee and the continued activity of the NZVWG is based on voluntary involvement.  

We welcome new professionals affiliated with zoos, scientific institutions and universities (or similar) from a member country.
